Abigail Jennings Finck grew up a short walk from the beach in Connecticut and just a few blocks from her grandparents; so from the beginning her home was  bordered by the people she loved and places she could explore & outline.

An artist dug in the sand on the beach, contoured in her sketch pad, painted on canvas. A photographer found the high school dark room and refurbished her mother's 35 millimeter camera. Her world got bigger; she studied psychology & studio art, road-tripped across the country, traveled to different corners of the globe,  and wound up in NYC. Pictures & paintings have always been a way for this adventurer to capture singular moments, the small parts that make up the whole.
